OSHA’s Six Standards that Apply to COVID-19

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has outlined six federal health and safety standards that apply to the pandemic to help employers protect their workers:

  1. Personal Protective Equipment: General Requirements
  2. Personal Protective Equipment: Respiratory Protection
  3. General Environmental Controls: Sanitation
  4. Toxic and Hazardous Substances: Hazard Communication
  5. Toxic and Hazardous Substances: Access to Employee Exposure and Medical Records
