Tony Macinanti joined Murray Murray Risk
Management and Insurance in 1995 as an Account Executive in the Bond Department of Murray’s Construction Services Division. Tony was promoted to Bond Manager of the Lancaster Bond Department in 1998 and is currently Vice President of Agency Bond Operations, where he manages agency/company relationships in addition to managing the Lancaster Bond Department. Prior to joining Murray, Tony worked as a Bond Consultant for Aetna Life & Casualty in Bond Operations for both the Boston and Philadelphia branch offices. Prior to becoming involved in the Surety Industry, Tony worked as an Underwriting/Marketing representative and an Actuarial Analyst for two other regional insurance companies.
Tony earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Boston College and earned the Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding (AFSB) Designation. At Aetna Life & Casualty, Tony taught the Practical Selling Skills program for all new bond trainees at the National Bond School in Hartford, CT. Tony has completed four of ten parts of the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
Tony is an active member of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP) Region 10 and the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Keystone Chapter. For the last two years he has held the position of Chairman of the Legal Rights Committee at ABC. Tony has authored articles and conducted presentations on Surety and Fidelity matters for industry associations and for clients. Tony is also a member of other construction groups including Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) Local Chapter, American Subcontractors Association (ASA) Harrisburg, and Associated Pennsylvania
Constructors (APC) Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
