Scott A. Orndorff, CPCU, joined Murray in 2011 as Vice President, Program Business Development in the Program Services Division.

Scott’s primary responsibilities at Murray are to direct the development and administration of new agency offerings for targeted industry and alternative market program businesses. He has over 32 years experience in the insurance industry, most recently serving as Senior Executive of the Specialty Division of Westfield Group. Additionally, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Old Guard Insurance where he was responsible for all inurance operations, including underwriting, claims, information systems, marketing, customer service, two branch locations and a staff of 250 employees.

He has earned the Chartered Property/Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. In addition, he earned a Bachelor of Arts from Mansfield University and a Masters of Management from The Pennsylvania State University.

Scott is active with The United Way of Lancaster as a Community Assessment committee member.He is also an active member of Highland Presbyterian Church, most recently serving on Session and the Governance Committee.
