Rick Rankin, CIC, serves as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer and has been with Murray Risk Management and Insurance for over 30 years.

He began as an Account Executive in 1979. In 1986, he became Vice President, then advanced to Senior Vice President in 1999. In 2002, he was promoted to Chief
Operating Officer and became President and Chief Executive Officer in 2004. July 2011, he was elected Chairman of the Board.

Rick attended Millersville University and earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

Rick has been actively involved with the YMCA for over 20 years. He is a member and Past President of the Lancaster Family YMCA Board, and is actively involved with the Lancaster Family YMCA Foundation Board. He is Past President of the Southern End Community Association (SECA). He is also Past President of the Southern Lancaster County Fair Association and continues to serve on the board. He also serves as Past President for the Westfield Agents Association, and a member of the Eastern Alliance Agents Council. He is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Distinguished Citizens Award Dinner Committee and serves on the Board for the Lancaster County Conservancy.
Rick has received various awards including: Lancaster Family YMCA Volunteer of the Year in 1989, Washington Lodge F&AM Outstanding Service Award in 1999.
