Matt Olphin began with Murray Risk Management and
Insurance as a Risk Control Consultant in 1999 and was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Risk Control Specialist in 2008, and Vice President in 2010.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Hygiene Management from Millersville University. He has earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Health Care Safety Specialist (HCSS) and the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designations.

Matt is a Professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and is a Past President of the Central PA ASSE Chapter. He is qualified as an OSHA Outreach Trainer for General Industry 10 & 30 hour courses, a trainer for Powered Industrial Trucks, and has developed a specialty in the field of ergonomics as it relates to workplace safety in various businesses & industries. Matt is also a Certified Safety Coordinator as awarded by J.J. Keller relating to the Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
