Mark Bennett is responsible for the management and oversight of Murray’s claims activity which includes both Murray’s claims consulting and third party administration services.

Mark began with Murray Risk Management and Insurance as a Claim Supervisor in 1986. He has served in various claims and managerial positions and was promoted to Vice President of Claims in 1995. Prior to Murray, Mark worked as a multi-line Claim Adjuster for a large regional carrier. Prior to entering the insurance industry he served as a Los Angeles, California Police Officer.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Personnel
Management with a minor in Economics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He earned the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation and was a graduate of Leadership Lancaster.

Mark is member of the Lancaster Claims Association and has worked with the American Red Cross as a Certified Trainer of Standard First Aid and CPR and with Schreiber Pediatric Rehabilitation Center in coordinating special events. Additionally, Mark has served as a Deacon at Wheatland Presbyterian Church, as co-chair of Murray’s Wellness Committee, and as a coach in the Delaware Valley Hockey League.
