Laurie Deitrich joined Murray in 2010 as a Risk Control Consultant. Her primary responsibility will be to provide risk control services to members of Communities Advancing Retirement Excellence (CARE), a captive insurance program managed by Murray, and other selected clients.
Laurie has extensive experience in safety and risk control services. Prior to joining Murray, she was a Senior Safety Consultant at Eichelbergers, Inc., where she developed customized safety training, safety programs and performed safety audits for industrial facilities and construction sites.

She earned a B.S. degree in Occupational Safety and Environmental Health from Millersville University and earned the Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) designation in 2008. She is qualified as an OSHA Outreach Trainer for General Industry 10 & 30 hour courses

Laurie is active with the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). She served as Central Pennsylvania Local Chapter President, June 2008 - June 2010, and is currently treasurer of the local chapter. She previously served on the board of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and currently serves as a member of that organization. In addition, she is a life group leader at Lancaster County Bible Church.
