Joe Kotula is a Bond Account Executive in Murray’s Capital Region Branch Office, Mechanicsburg.
He most recently worked as an underwriter for United States Surety Company where he was responsible for reviewing, analyzing and pricing new and existing contract bond accounts for small to medium sized contractors in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. areas.

Joe earned a B.S. in Business, with a minor in Economics from Mount St. Mary’s University, Emmitsburg, Maryland, and is currently pursuing the Associate in Surety and Fidelity Bonding (ASFB) designation.

Joe was a three time captain and four year starter of Mount St. Mary’s Division 1 baseball team. He received All-Conference honors as well as Player and Rookie of the week awards. He was voted the 6th greatest athlete in Delone Catholic High School history by the York Daily Record newspaper. Joe was a standout quarterback and third basemen for Delone helping them to several District Championships. In his free time, Joe enjoys playing golf, attending sporting events, and watching Notre Dame football.

He is active with the Hanover YMCA, and is a member of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), Knights of Columbus, The Republican Club, The Moose Lodge and Harrisburg Young Professionals.
