Joseph P. Nolt, Chairman
Joe has served Murray Risk Management and Insurance as Chairman since 1983. Prior to Murray, Joe was Senior Vice-President for Engle-Hambright and Davies and Assistant Vice President at Marsh and McLennan. He was a surety bond underwriter with Aetna Life and Casualty, served as a Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.
Joe graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in with an A.B. and earned an MA from from Eastern New Mexico University.
Joe has been involved in many community and civic organizations. He serves as Trustee for Franklin and Marshall College, and has received the College Annual Alumni Medal. He is also Past-President of their National Alumni Board. Joe has served as President of the Lancaster Family YMCA and the YMCA Foundation Boards. He served on the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce Board and currently the Lancaster Alliance Board.
In November 2006, Joe was awarded the honor of being inducted as a Laureate into Junior Achievement of Central Pennsylvania’s Hall of Achievement where he was recognized for his achievements in executive management and community leadership.
Joe served as a National Director of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers. He was President and long-time Director of Keystone Chapter, Associated Builders and Contractors, and President of Merit Shop Training and Research Center, Inc. He has also served on various regional and national insurance industry boards and councils.
Richard M. Rankin, CIC, President and Chief Executive Officer
Rick has been with Murray Risk Management and Insurance for over 25 years. He began as an Account Executive in 1979. In 1986 he became Vice President and Senior Vice President in 1999. In 2002, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and became President and CEO in 2004. Rick attended Millersville University and earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
Rick has been actively involved with the YMCA for over twenty years. He is a member and Past President of the Lancaster Family YMCA Board, and is actively involved with the Lancaster Family YMCA Foundation Board. He is a member and Past President of the Southern End Community Association (SECA) Board and is Vice President of the Southern Lancaster County Fair Association. He also serves as the Trustee for the Westfield Agents Association, and as Chairman for Harleysville Agents Council Committee. He is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Distinguished Citizens Award Dinner Committee as well as on the Board for the Lancaster County Conservancy.
Rick has received various awards including: Lancaster Family YMCA Volunteer of the Year in 1989, Washington Lodge F&AM Outstanding Service Award in 1999.
David E. Hosler, CPCU, Chief Operating Officer
David Hosler became Chief Operating Office in 2004. He joined Murray Risk Management and Insurance in 2003 as Vice President of Corporate Affairs. Prior to Murray, Dave was Senior Vice President of John.P. Woods Company, Inc., Jersey City, NJ (a reinsurance intermediary). With the Westfield Group Westfield, Ohio, he served as a Senior Executive of Strategic Alliances.Following Westfield Group’s purchase of Old Guard Insurance Group, Lancaster, PA, Dave served as President & CEO.
Dave earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Elizabethtown College and received the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation from the American Institute for CPCU.
Dave is currently Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Elizabethtown College. Since 1998, he has served on the Board of Directors of Sterling Financial Corporation, Lancaster, PA. Hosler is also a member of the Boards of Directors with Brethren Villiage, Inc., Lancaster Rotary Club, CPCU - Pennsylvania Dutch Chapter and the United Way of Lancaster County.
Holly M. Kutz, AAM, Chief Financial Officer,
Secretary/Treasurer
Holly has worked for Murray Risk Management and Insurance since 1978. She began as an Accounting Department Clerk and Information Technology Department Manager and became Accounting Department Manager in 1984. In 1986, she was promoted to Controller, Director of Finance, and in 1987, became Corporate Secretary/Controller. In 2004, she was promoted to Chief Financial Officer, Secretary/ Treasurer.
Holly attended Millersville University and Pennsylvania State University. She obtained her Pennsylvania Property/Casualty License and Associate in Automation Management designation (AAM). She is a graduate of Leadership Lancaster. She is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and has served as Co-Chair of the Capital Campaign and Board member of the Hands on House Children’s Museum of Lancaster. She is a Board Member for Schreiber Pediatric Rehabilitation Center where she served on the Community Division Committee for Schreiber’s Capital Campaign. She currently serves on the Financial Development Committee and is Chair of the Nominating Committee.
Stephen V. Riley, Sr. Vice President,
Program Services Division
Steve began with Murray Risk Management and Insurance in 1989 as an Account Executive. He was promoted to Vice President, Commercial Division in 1998 and Senior Vice President in 2001. Steve heads up Program Services Division which includes captive management, claim administration and risk management services. Prior to Murray, Steve worked in various Risk Managerial positions for several national/international corporations.
Steve is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Safety Management and is a graduate of the Leadership Lancaster.
Steve serves as President of CARE, Ltd., a group captive for Not-for-Profit Retirement Communities and is a member of the Captive Insurance Companies Association and Risk Insurance Management Society. He is also active in multiple community and civic organizations and is currently a Director for Pleasant View Retirement Community and Schreiber Pediatric Rehabilitation Center. He is former Chairman of Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Pennsylvania and the Lancaster County Children and Youth Agency Boards.
Peter Wengrenovich, Senior Vice President,
Commercial Sales and Service
Pete has been working in the insurance industry for 26 years. He began his career with Murray Risk Management and Insurance in 1986 as a Commercial Marketing Manager. He became Vice President in 1988 and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 1999.
Pete earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bloomsburg State University. He attended Liberty Mutual Commercial Underwriting and Loss Control School and is currently pursuing the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
Pete is a member of the Insurance Agents and Brokers of Pennsylvania and received the Lancaster Leadership Award from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in 2000. In 2005 he served as Co-Chairman of the Annual Giving Campaign on behalf of the Susquehanna Association for the Blind and Vision Impaired. He is currently a member and Past President of the American Business Club, and is Chairman of their annual benefit dance. Pete is also a member of several boards including the Hands-On House,
Susquehanna Association for the Blind & Vision Impaired (SABVI), and The Lancaster Chapter of American Business Club. Pete has also served on a number of insurance company advisory councils and was active as an insurance program instructor at Harrisburg Area Community College.
David R. Bradbury, Sr. Vice President
Construction Services Division
Dave began his career with Murray as Vice President and Bond Manager in 1991, and was promoted to his current position as Senior Vice President, Construction Services Division in 1996. Dave has extensive surety experience having worked in the surety bond industry for 28 years. Previously, he managed bond department operations for Atena/Travelers in Los Angeles, and for The Hartford in Philadelphia.
Dave earned an Associate degree in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from Kutztown University. He is currently working on his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
He has served on the Board of Directors for Associated Pennsylvania Contractors (APC) and as Vice Chairman of the ABC Liaison Committee of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP). Dave currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the
Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). He was a Co-Founder of this Chapter in 1993, and in 1995, won the National CFMA President’s Award for Chapter Development.
