Commercial Service and Administrative Assistant

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

Accept new insurance applications and prepares said documents for submission to the underwriter.

Assist with preparation of proposals for distribution to the insured.

Prepare new CPPRRG policy documents for delivery to insured.

Prepare and circulate renewal information requests.

Prepare and distribute renewal policies to the insured.  This may involve attending renewal meetings with the producer, independently conducting renewal meetings, or mailing the renewal to the insured.

Order and distribute invoices from the management company.

Receive and process endorsement requests from and to the insured.

Process requests for certificates of insurance and similar inquiries within 48 hours of receipt of request.

Process all Mcare documentation including preparation of statutory forms, ordering and distributing invoices and ensuring program compliance with Mcare processes. 

Perform customary CSR responsibilities for CARE member insureds and any other specifically assigned agency accounts. 

Perform renewal and new proposal processing for PICS self-insured trusts. 

Participate in seminars and classes to maintain continuing education requirements and increase technical/professional skills.

Prepare and send scheduled correspondence.

Maintain permanent files.

Update CPPRRG insured information in agency system.

Perform special requests and projects at management’s request.

 

Construction Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities include:

Must hold a valid Pennsylvania Property and Casualty License.              

Consistently review accounts for round-out opportunities and demonstrate the ability to enhance the client’s insurance program through coverage recommendations/quotations.

Review/analyze contracts and specifications making appropriate recommendations to the producer/client as needed.  Demonstrate ability to independently analyze and handle complex contracts.

Demonstrate the ability to analyze coverage forms and identify restrictions and exclusions that will impact the insured, and demonstrate the ability to recommend alternative solutions.

Check and process audits and dividend calculations on a timely basis.

Demonstrate ability to resolve most client questions without producer/supervisory involvement.

Be available to go on proposal appointments with Account Executive, Regularly meet with Clients, and to be able to conduct Client Visits on own.

Work with Account Executives/Producers in determining type of proposal required for the renewal and make sure it is available prior to the expiration date.
