Cathy Gardner began with Murray Risk Management and Insurance in 1988 in the Accounting Department at the Lancaster headquarters. She then moved to the Personal Insurance Center where she served as Customer Service Representative and in 1998, became the Personal Lines Service Manager. She was promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2001 and named Agency Personal Lines Service Manager in 2003.

Cathy earned an Associate degree in Accounting from Altoona School of Commerce and the Property and Casualty License. She also received the Certified Professional
Insurance Woman (CPIW) designation and the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

Cathy is active with the Junior Achievement and serves as a Committee Member on various committees and events. She is active with the Relay for Life and has served as Chair for the Murray Relay for Life Team. Cathy has also previously been active with LL Science & Technology Alliance, Inc., where she visited area middle schools to educate students on careers in the insurance industry.
