Bruce Cannon began with Murray Risk Management and Insurance in 2005 as Vice President, Employee Benefits Division Manager. Bruce brings a wealth of experience to Murray having worked in the Employee Benefits industry for over twenty-five years.

He served as a Senior Level Consultant for several of Pennsylvania’s leading health insurance and employee benefits providers. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Employee Benefits of Sovereign Benefits Consulting, a division of Sovereign Bank. Previous to Sovereign Benefits Consulting, Cannon was Director of Client Services/Senior Consultant for American Insurance Administrators.

Bruce earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Psychology from La Salle University. He is currently pursuing the Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) and Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designations through American College. Bruce was a graduate of Executive Leadership Lancaster in 2006.

He is currently involved with the Lancaster County Business Group on Health and coaches for various youth sports organizations. He has served as a Board Member for St. Leo the Great Elementary School and for the Dutch Council Boy Scouts of America.
