Peter Wengrenovich, Sr. Vice President
Pete has been working in the insurance industry for 26 years. He began his career with Murray Risk Management and Insurance in 1986 as a Commercial Marketing Manager. He became Vice President in 1988 and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 1999.
Pete earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bloomsburg State University. He attended Liberty Mutual Commercial Underwriting and Loss Control School and is currently pursuing the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

Pete is a member of the Insurance Agents and Brokers of Pennsylvania and received the Lancaster Leadership Award from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in 2000. In 2005 he served as Co-Chairman of the Annual Giving Campaign on behalf of the Susquehanna Association for the Blind and Vision Impaired. He is currently a member and Past President of the American Business Club, and is Chairman of their annual benefit dance. Pete is also a member of several boards including the Hands-On House,
Susquehanna Association for the Blind & Vision Impaired (SABVI), and The Lancaster Chapter of American Business Club. Pete has also served on a number of insurance company advisory councils and was active as an insurance program instructor at Harrisburg Area Community College.

Barbara B. Martin, CPIA, Assistant Vice President,
Account Executive
Barb began with Murray Risk Management and Insurance in 1987 as a Commercial Customer Service Representative. In 1996 she was promoted to Account Executive and to Assistant Vice President in 2000. Prior to Murray, Barb worked as a Commercial Service Representative for Schmidt Insurance Agency, Inc. in Louisville Kentucky. She worked as a Customer Service Representative for Hayes, Foster, and Utley Insurance Agency and for Elliott, Bass and Weisberg Insurance, Inc. both in Louisville, Kentucky. Previously, she worked as a Commercial and Personal Lines Supervisor for Pratt Insurance, Inc. in Smyrna, Delaware.

Barb has completed various Post Graduate Business and Insurance courses and earned her Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) designation. She has served as a Board Member for the Arbor Place Teen Center and has been active with Insurance Women of Lancaster County. She is also serves as a member on the Support Team and participates on Gautamala Missions. Barb has also been on the Advisory Counsel for Family Service Workplace Solutions and involved with the Downtown Sunrise Toastmasters Club.

Clarence C. Kegel, Assistant Vice President
Account Executive
Clarence began with Murray Risk Management and Insurance as a Customer Service Representative in 1996 and was promoted to Account Executive in 2002. Prior to Murray, he worked in insurance sales and service for Shoemaker and Besser Insurance Group, Inc./ Service Associates of Pennsylvania and Association Management and Insurance Services, Inc.

Clarence earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/ Public Relations from Susquehanna University. He received the Property/Casualty License and the Health/Life License.

Bruce E. Weaver, ACLM
Account Executive
Bruce Weaver began with Murray Risk Management and Insurance in 2003 as a Commercial Sales Executive. Prior to Murray he worked for CNA Insurance in Chicago, Illinois in both Loss Control and Marketing Commercial Insurance.
Bruce earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in music from Southern Illinois University. He received the Associate in Loss Control Management (ACLM) designation and is currently pursuing the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC)
designation.

Bruce serves as the Community Service Chairman of the Lancaster Hempfield Rotary Club, on the Marketing Committee of the Susquehanna Valley Red Cross, and is active with the Water Street Rescue Mission as Coordinator of several company sponsored events. He is Assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 349 in Mountville and serves as District Community Relations Chairman for the local Boy Scounts of America as well as on the Boy Scouts of America Pennsylvania Dutch Council Risk Management Committee. Bruce is Past President of the Lancaster II Chapter of Business Network International (BNI). He served as Past Vice President and Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) Chicago Chapter, and was active with the Junior Chamber of Commerce (“Jaycees”), also in Chicago.

Amy G. Mitchell, CIC, CISR
Account Executive
Amy Mitchell began with Murray Risk Management and Insurance in 1994. She has held various customer service and sales positions, and currently serves as an Account Executive.

Amy earned the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation and the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.Amy is active with Junior Achievement and serves on their Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, the Committee for Chance Encounter. She is also Chair of the Putt for Education Committee and is involved with multiple other Junior Acheivement special events. She serves on the Planning Committee for the Professional Womens Forum, sponsored by the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce. Amy has served on the Murray Relay for Life Team and been involved with Schreiber Pediatrics Annual Rubber Duckie Race. She has also been active with the Muscular Dystophy Association, the United Way, and other non-profit organizations. As an employee-owned company, Amy has been active as a member of Murray’s Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) Committee.
